budget resultsThe Johnson City Central School District passed its $56 million budget and 1.82 percent tax levy increase by a vote of 1601 (yes) and 1034 (no). Proposition #1 to purchase three 66-passenger buses and one 7-passenger vehicle passed with 1573 (yes) and 1065 (no) votes. Proposition #2 to purchase land for an energy performance contract that included a solar project was defeated with 1189 (yes) and 1444 (no) votes. Voters approved the re-election of school board member Jeannette Farr, who ran unopposed and received 2134 votes.
