Principal DeinhardtDear school community,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself to you as the new principal of Johnson City High School. Having the opportunity to contribute, lead and be part of “Wildcat Pride” in the high school is a great honor. The values, education, experience and passion for educating students and helping all of them achieve success, as well as social and emotional health, are characteristics that I have cultivated over a lifetime of learning. These are all assets that the Johnson City Central School District reflects with its rich tradition of academic excellence and caring.

Over the past 20 years, I have been a teacher, coach and administrator at Johnson City. I have enjoyed and learned from each opportunity to work alongside outstanding staff, coaches and administrators as well as building relationships with students and their families. I believe true success is the ability to educate, nurture and contribute to the well-being of others.

As we enter the 2021-22 school year, I look forward to working as hard as possible to provide our entire school community with an exceptional experience. Preparing each student for their future will include high expectations, high educational standards and a focus on character. The underlying key for success will be the strong relationships that we develop on a continual basis.

It is with sincere appreciation and excitement that I have the opportunity to work with each of you.
